Let's face it, moving bulky items, such as outdoor furniture, around Australia can be an expensive exercise. At Bali Republic, our aim is to minimise the delivery costs to our customers and we therefore flat pack, where we can, products that help reduce the overall cost to our customers.
Take our outdoor tables for example, which are by far the largest items we deliver, it makes sense from a shipping cost point of view that they are delivered as a flat pack - the bigger the item is, obviously the more expensive it is to be delivered.
The assembly process is a straightforward one with the flat packs designed to be put together with minimal effort in a short period of time. If you look at the majority of our outdoor tables, they have a standard leg design i.e. 4 legs which require simple attaching to the table top with the fittings provided. Some of our other tables have beams and cross bars which add a couple of extra steps to the assembly process.
We always recommend that with any of our flat pack items, that you place the carton face down and remove the top half of the carton and assemble from there. That way you keep the bottom half of the carton between the ground and the product for added protection during the assembly process.
We also have an assembly service in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide for those customers who would prefer not to handle the assembly process themselves.
And that's really all there is to it - basic flat packs that are quick and easy to put together unlike some other flat packs out there in the marketplace which almost require a science degree to assemble!

We are now pleased to offer our customers an enhanced delivery service, in fact one that we think rivals any eCommerce retailer in Australia. Our brand new Platinum Delivery service option offers our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide customers more choice as to how they wish to receive their order. Platinum Delivery is carried out by 2 trained furniture removal professionals and includes product assembly (if required), installation and packaging rubbish removal.
We have had customers over the years ask about product assembly becuase they physically weren't up to it or some simply couldn't be bothered so it has always been in the back of our minds and a work in progress to offer a 'white glove' style delivery service. Now, any item that comes as a flat pack i.e. our tables which are designed to be assembled with minimal effort by the way, can be assembled either on-site or off-site (depending on access) through our Platinum Delivery service. The items will then be installed in the desired location, with all packaging rubbish removed off-site by us so you don't have to deal with it.
You will receive a call from either a Bali Republic representative or the furniture removal company handling delivery of your order. Allow 1-2 additional business days over our Standard Delivery service as there is more to coordinate than simply just sending out cartons directly from one of our warehouses to you.
